A detailed video lecture about “Calculation of Acceleration Due to Gravity g” for CBSE Grade IX Term Exam Preparation. This video was created in accordance with the latest syllabus by Brilliant Qatar.
An object on the surface of the earth produces acceleration due to gravity that is equal to 9.8 meters per second square. The value depends on the mass of the planet, the radius of the planet, and the universal gravitational constant between the object and planet. On calculating the value of “g” by using the data on earth we can find the result to be 9.8 meters per second square.
