1. Online Registration

  • Visit the official portal: mcc.nic.in.
  • Click on “UG Medical Counselling” and select “New Candidate Registration”.
  • Enter your NEET UG 2026 Roll Number, Application Number, Candidate Name, Date of Birth, and Security Pin.
  • Create a password and verify registration via OTP sent to your registered mobile number and email.

2. Form Filling & Fee Payment

  • Log in with your Roll Number and Password.
  • Complete personal details, communication address, and academic scores.

  • Pay the non-refundable registration fee + refundable security deposit through online payment gateways.

3. Choice Filling

  • Access the “Available Choices” tab.

  • Add your preferred colleges in priority order (Rank #1 being your top preference).
  • You can reorder, insert, or delete choices as many times as needed before locking.

4. Choice Locking

  • Review your saved preference list carefully.

  • Note: If you forget to lock manually, your last saved choices will automatically lock at the specified deadline.
  • Download and print the locked choices confirmation page.

5. Seat Allotment Result & Reporting

  • MCC processes seat allotments based on NEET All India Rank (AIR), category reservations, and locked preferences.
  • Download the Provisional Seat Allotment Letter from mcc.nic.in.
  • Report to the allotted college within the specified schedule for document verification and fee payment.

Documents Required for Physical Reporting

Candidates must present original certificates alongside two sets of self-attested photocopies during physical reporting:

Key Rules & Free Exit Options

  1. Round 1 Free Exit: If allotted a seat in Round 1, you can choose not to join without losing your security deposit.
  2. Round 2 Exit with Forfeiture: If allotted a seat in Round 2 and you choose not to join, your security deposit will be forfeited.
  3. No Resignation in Round 3: Once you join a seat allotted in Round 3, no resignations or further upgrades are permitted.
  4. Stray Vacancy Penalty: Candidates allotted a seat in the Stray Vacancy Round must join. Non-joining results in forfeiture of the security deposit and debarment from taking the NEET UG exam for the subsequent year.
